Samsung Televisions is now my focus as a keyword phrase to promote. Since I have been able to consistently maintain my first keyword phrase[tvs televisions]  for my e commerce site in the top three postitions, I am in the process of using the same link building techniques to promote my second keyword phrase samsung televisions.  The goal is to achieve the same results for this more targeted buyer oriented keyword.

This was second on my task list due to the research indicated that the search volume and competition indicators used to select it were not as amenable to breaking onto page one of Google as the original keyword. Still it scored very high. Results so far: position 41 out of millions of competing pages.

Well I am into the last week of the 30 day link building program taught by niche blueprint. Very pleased with the Google ranking for my first keyword phrase tvs televisions. It has held 2 of the top 3 positions for the last 3 weeks.

My second keyword samsung televisions hasn’t done as well. I found it today in position 31 on page 4. On investigation I discovered that I had not optimzed my home page well enough for the keyword so I spent this morning doing a little tinkering and added a youtube module with video’s from the Samsung televisions 2009 Consumer Electronics Show to Give my customers some additional content.

This blog post is one of the two action items that the blueprint calls out for today. Need to make one blog post and one forum post with anchor text linking to my homepage. I have decided to use Samsung Televisions as well as my normal anchor text of tvs televisions as the focus for today.
