You have to admire these folks. The silent majority is really starting to rise up. Going out in 100 degree plus weather to protest what is going on in DC is admirable. Watch this video and you’re bound to get motivated.
As for the 8 republicans that voted for this bill and the 44 democrats that voted against it I would urge everyone to remember them appropriately when it comes time to renew contracts in 2010.
Watching the video they said something about there being four days for representatives to change their vote. If this is the case now is the time to get on the phone and call the reprobates that voted for this bill and let them know how you feel and that you will be voting appropriately next election cycle. Let them know in no uncertain terms that if they do not change their vote to no that you will vote no to their continued position on your payroll. Here are their phone numbers and names:
The 8 cap-and-tax Republican turncoats again are:
Bono Mack (CA) (202) 225-5330
Castle (DE) (202) 225-4165
Kirk (IL) (202) 225-4385 (And he’s seriously considering running for Senate!)
Lance (NJ) (202) 225-5361
LoBiondo (NJ) (202) 225-6572
McHugh (NY) (202) 225-4611
Reichert (WA) (202) 225-7761
Smith (NJ) (202) 225-3765
Take a good look at those traitorous turn coats and ask yourself: why would they go against the avalanche of citizens against this bill. What would be the value of the gain that would make them vote this way.
While you’re at it do some thinking on the corporations and individuals that sponsored this bill and promote it so vehemently. There are billions waiting for those entities just waiting for passage. GE already has a complete division set up to handle the expected boon to their bottom line–all at the expense of the American people and Al Gore I don’t make any money will become the worlds first “green billionaire” overnight. Not from the salary that he so righteously sings from the rooftops that he donates but from profits from his investments. I am so sick of these duplicitous cretins.
